I can't find the Walmart example, but here is my idea for a site like mine (nativehorrorindex.com) that is a directory for people/talent: A map block on the homepage (and possibly more specific "micro" one per detail page) from the macro view (North America) populated with pins from every listing's location. And maybe the ability to customize the address field to only include city and state as to not force any users to literally list their personal address and doxx themselves. Not sure if even feasible with embedded Google Maps to have pins connected to specific people/their listings in the directory... Another related idea is to have a location-based block that is split into regions via cards, e.g., PNW, The South, East Coast, provinces of Canada, etc. And clicking on that will filter to the listings within that region (I'm fine with defining the region myself per listing). This might already be possible with the current blocks, but I haven't figured out how.
Its now possible to create map based directories/add map based blocks to existing directories. Initial details are here https://listable.userjot.com/updates/p/support-for-map-based…. Further documentation will be added to our site soon. To get your head around it in the meantime, I'd advise creating a couple of new directories with the wizard so you can see what blocks are available, how settings work etc.
