You can now manage access to your directories via 3 methods:

Password - locks a directory down until a password is entered

IP - locks a directory down to a specific set of IPs

User accounts - this offers two modes: forced and optional.

Forced - prevents users accessing any content until logged in. Can be restricted to roles as necessary

Optional - users can still view the site, but you have the ability to block access to lock down listings, pages and categories to specific roles.
